One of my biggest concerns with the project is that not only does the project depend on taking away quite a bit of existing parking, it also allows for building many units with very little parking in the hope that people who will RENT there will not own cars. I think this is very idealistic. We live in a rural county where much of it will never be able to be accessed by public transportation. I’m sure people are going to want to own cars and there will no place to park them except for in the neighborhoods nearby that are already having problems from lack of parking.
